As you may be aware, there is another allegation of an incident involving a 5th grade student and a motorist where the motorist asked the student if he wanted a ride in his car. Chief Robert Zimmerman is working closely with Pitman School Superintendent Dr. Patrick McAleer regarding this issue. Chief Zimmerman has been extremely busy since late last night in the investigation of this matter. That investigation has continued into today and is ongoing. Chief Zimmerman will be posting details regarding the incident and what steps the PPD is taking at this point in the investigation. Also, in a proactive measure to keep our residents informed, the Borough in cooperation with Chief Zimmerman will be hosting a conference call this evening at 7:30 pm. This conference call will be live and will be listen only. Chief Zimmerman will update residents on this matter. This conference call will hold a maximum of 96 people at once. If the call becomes maxed out, do not worry, we will be posting a number shortly after to listen to a recording of this call. Here are the details of this call:
